OnAir March 14(Sat),2015
Join us as we make a visit to Tsuna in southern Niigata, well known for the heavy snowfall and what most people don’t know about what’s buried under the snow. Snow carrots are planted in autumn and by winter; they would ripen underneath the winter snow and eventually be harvested in Spring when the snow melts. The snow carrots are then juiced. The two hosts as they experience peeling and juicing the carrots and enjoying the sweetness of their labour.
